My name is William Freitag, I have been learning to play music for around four years. Learning without a teacher through online recourses, books and just listening has shown me what kind of teaching helps, what kind of information is valuable and what mistakes can easily be made along the way. Playing in a band over the last 2 years has pushed me to learn more and increase my skills of listening to others and how different instruments fit onto a song/ how they complement the music.
I started writing this blog and writing posts for other websites as I am very grateful to all the recourses that have got me to where I am today and would love to help others on their own musical journey. I’m continuing to learn every day and hope this site will help others to learn alongside me.
